Roland TD 30 module with Electronic kit and VH11 Hi Hat - £1750 The TD30 module is a well known bit of kit by Roland. It does so much I couldn’t possibly describe it all here. If you’re thinking about buying a Roland kit and confused about their modules I’m happy to spend time in my home demonstrating it. The module will come with the mains lead, a spare 2 metre mains lead, manual and a set of Roland connecting leads as well as a couple of spare Roland cables. There is also a Roland Mounting plate and a Roland cable extension in case you need to move a drum and need a longer lead. The pack of Roland leads was bought extra to the module and cost me over £200. Instead of Roland pads I had a Premier XPK kit converted by the owner and expert at Diamond Electronic Drums. When seen on stage it looks like an acoustic kit but with the mesh heads and Roland module it is the best of all worlds. Each drum has a discreet jack plug socket for connecting to the module. You can choose to play kits by well-known pros or you can make your own. Again, it’s very easy once you’ve tried it. The kit has a 20” Bass drum, 14” snare drum, 10”, 12” and 14” toms. Thre's a Premier double tom holder on the bass drum. The 14” tom needs a snare stand or clamp and ‘L’ bar. All but the bass drum are dual zone triggered. These give you 8 different sounds or instruments and infinite variations of those sounds. The Hi-hat is a Roland VH11 which fits on a standard hi-hat pedal. Even second hand, these are very expensive. The new price is over £300 and it’s included as part of this package! I use a pack of (3) Alesis Surge electronic cymbals. One is dual zone and 2 are single zone. Buying all these items individually would cost you £3000. Gear4Music has a discounted TD30 module at £1730. My price means you are paying an extra £65 but you’ll have a full kit, The VH11, and a set of surge cymbals. All you’ll need is your own hardware and an amp or headphones.
